COACHING PACKAGES, WORKSHOPS, COURSES

When working together you (the client) understand and agree to the following –

  1. I will receive tools and develop skills to support me in putting the principles of NLP, Positive Psychology and Non-Violent Communication into practice and it is my responsibility to use them.
  2. I am responsible for contacting my GP about any health concerns.
  3. I give permission for my coach to stop coaching sessions at any moment if the coach feels it is In this case, the coach will refund all sessions that have been paid for but not used.
  4. If I am receiving treatment from my GP, or any other medical provider, I should check that coaching is compatible with any other treatment I am receiving. My coach will be happy to liaise with anyone from my medical team if I wish for them to do so.
  5. It is important that I tell my coach about any medical diagnoses I have that may affect coaching sessions.
  6. Recording consultations using any form of electronic media is not allowed without the written permission of both me and my coach.
  7. I agree to the following definition of Coaching: Coaching is a professional relationship in which the coach works together with a client or client alone or in a group setting, facilitating discussions meant to clarify areas that the client or clients would like to improve, and to help the client or clients work toward achieving their desired outcomes in those areas. The goal of the coach is to help clients come up with their own answers to their concerns.
  8. I agree that coaching is distinct from therapy, in that while discussions in coaching sessions may address certain obstacles that the coach may suspect are keeping a participant from achieving their goals, under no circumstances will the coach provide therapy, nor will the coach render any medical or psychological advice or engage in any activity or practice that may require specialised training and/or licensing.
  9. I agree to the following definition of consulting: Consulting provides clients with specific advice, strategies, tools or support.
  10. I understand that it is my responsibility to attend the coaching sessions (online or in-person) as arranged and any alternative or replacement dates or times shall be offered at the discretion of the coach if you are unable to attend for whatever reason. For reasons of confidentiality, coaching sessions will not be recorded.
  11. I will provide the coach with all the necessary information, and I am solely responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining my own physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, and actions, including those that arise out of or in any way relate to or result from the coaching relationship.
  12. As such, I agree that the coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any coaching services provided.
